PULASKI COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION
OFFICERS AND
BOARD OF DIRECTORS POSITIONS
ARE NOW OPEN
Nominations are now being accepted for upcoming vacancies for the offices of the President-Elect and Secretary/Treasurer of the Pulaski County Bar Association for bar year 2008-09. Both offices are for a one-year term.
Nominations for two upcoming vacancies on the Board of Directors are also being accepted:
Two two-year positions are open for election. The terms will begin with the new bar year on June 1, 2008 and expire at the end of the 2009-2010 bar year, which is May 31, 2010.
Nominees must be members in good standing. Nomination must be written and accompanied by a short biographical sketch or resume.
The affairs of the PCBA are conducted by the Board of Directors, which meets monthly during the months of August – April to set policies and general operating procedures.
Members in good standing and with an interest in serving the Bar should submit their nomination to the PCBA office and must include the signatures of three PCBA members in good standing. The membership of the PCBA will then be given the opportunity to vote, and the new directors and officers will be announced at the Annual Meeting and Dinner on Wednesday, May 7, 2008.
Board of Directors Nominations must be received in the
PCBA Office by 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 1, 2008.
